This year I am enjoying the summer in Hungary, and I am also enjoying the wedding season here. August seems to be THE month to get married here. I can't seem to have enough days and hours in a day to fit in all the brides...lol

Last weekend I was hired to do makeup for a bride in Veszprem, the windy city, and since I work together with my lil sis in a wedding styling team (she does amazing hair...www.floralicsauer.wordpress.com) we figured, lets make a nice day out of it:) Her bf and our older sister also joined us and we did some sightseeing and of course some goofin' around.

DIY Stacked Bracelets....

Do you ever fee like, hmm ... I have all these bracelets and I see people mix and match them so cool, why can't I do it! How do I do it?!?!? 

Here are some tips to help you!

Advice on how to stack colorful bracelets together: 

- Don't try to be too matchy-matchy

- It's always good to have one contrasting color that pops out

- Do mix sizes (At least one very thin, and one or two bigger ones mixed with the medium sized beads)

- Do mix textures (Ropes, beads, chains)

- Don't give up on a boring bland bracelet....put a charm on it or add a different type of bead (see the two voodoo skull bracelets) 

What you will need:

Old bracelets (broken bracelets, stretched out ones, ugly ones, once you got as a gift and you never wore)

Beads (Bead Gallery at Michael's)

Translucent Stretch Band

Tools

Time and patience

and lets not forget about the bottle of Rose wine (which helps with the 'being patient' part ;)

1920's Photoshoot - Sneak peak....

We got asked to be a part of an amazing exhibition and concert project called 'My Instrument', which celebrates the work of Endre Varga. A musician, teacher, mentor, band member and lover of music. 

The first photoshoot was a 1920's inspired photoshoot for the band and a model at the Cadillac museum in Keszthely.

I got to sit in a 1941 Cadillac ... sweet:)

Taking A Walk...

I try to stay active with the growing belly, which, I gotta say is hard sometimes due to constant back pain and fatigue, but I try:) So we went for a nice little walk around our house on this beautiful sunny day.

FOTD: It's a girl!

Yes, we found out that we are having a baby girl...yeaaa....

I got this adorable little traditional embroidered Hungarian baby shirt/blouse form my family as a gift. Isn't it adorable:)

At the park...When I saw the photo, I had to laugh, because I think I look like a penguin...lol..the round belly + cardigan being long in the back:)
