FOTD: I graduated!!

I finally graduated!!! I am a certified esthetician...yeaaa:) Thank you girls for the sweet words!

Well, for now licensed in EU, so I still have to take my license in Cali.

We went to my sis' boyfriend's summer house, and we got to play around with my graduation present...a new Panasonic camera:)

FOTD: All in White For Last Day of Board Exam

It is the last day of my board exam (I am taking it in EU and it is 2 days of theory: anatomy, lab, biochemistry, electro and other fancy stuff, and 1 day of practice at the school spa...and we have to wear white) ... if everything goes well ... 5pm today, I will have my license in my hand, and am going back home to the US in a couple of days... yeaaa:)

I am gonna miss Europe a bit though!

Miss Sporty nail polish in Cappucino. I know, the color might look a bit like 'bird poop'... lol...but it is actually a great grayish brown color :) 

I still don't have my camera...sooo once again taken with my phone. Can anyone reccomend a good camera?? What is your favorite brand? Nikon, Panasonic??!??!

HOTD...is there such a thing as Hair Of The Day? Well, if not, I just created it.

Originally I have straight hair, but whenever I have time, I love to put in my 'house wife' curlers (this is what my husband and my sis call them..lol) over night so I can create some flowy, curly looks or an updo the next day.
If you would like to know how I did this look, let me know, and I will do a tutorial:)

Makeup Haul: NYX, Maybelline, Malu Wilz

Malu Wilz Soft Color Gloss #46:
A very nice soft pink shade that is great by itself for a natural look, or over any matte or frosty lipstick. It has a sticky consistency though...so if you are not into sticky lipglosses, you probably won't like this one.

Color Perfection Luxe Gloss #760:
I would compare it to OCC lip tars. Color: cherry red. One word that descibes it: Intense!!!

Maybelline Wet Shine Diamonds Liquid #45 Jewels 'n Berries:
A great super super shiny gloss, that looks at first red, but on the lips it just shimmers in the lite, like you really have diamonds on your lips:) Great gloss. I reccomend it to those of you out there who love to glow.

Swatches are in the same order as the glosses.

NYX Ultra Pearl Mania in LP11 Baby Pink Pearl and LP12 Purple Purle:

They are highly pigmented as you can see on the swatches. I just used them on bare skin with no foundation under it.

Swatches are in the same order as the pearl pigments.

NYX Eye/Eyebrow Pencil #927 Acid Green:
Very intense and long lasting true acid green color. Hmmm...it says eye/eyebrow pencil...I don't think I will use it too much on my brows, but you never know with me;)

Shoe Addiction: Sandals

I saw these babies at a little botique, and instantly thought "it would be a sin leaving it there" :)

I love the details. It is versatile, since it has black, brown, dark red, blue and eggshell colors as well, and it's very comfy. They are kind of a mix between bohemian and gladiator sandals.
It looks great with skirts, dresses, skinny jeans and wide top...What do you guys think?

Pretty in Pink: Rimmel: Sweet Heart Nail Polish

I know it might sound 'too Barbie' ... but pink makes me happy:)
I was told once, that my birth stone is the rose quartz, and when I saw this polish, it instanlty reminded me of the rose quartz pendant I have.

The Rimmel 296 Sweet Heart polish is a nice baby pink with tiny glitters in it.
Adorable:)

I am wearing two coats and no top coat.

Mini Haul: Accessories

While I am spending some time in EU finishing my aesthetician school, I figured I gotta check out some stores here:)

I found a few cute bracelets and rings and one pair of earrings at a C&A store.

They were all between $4-10.

Please excuse the bandage on my hand.. I got tendonitis in my right wrist ... and unfortunately I am right handed :(
This is why I haven't posted any new makeup looks lately...I hope it is gonna heal soon, since my board exam is coming up in a week!
Not to mention that I can't wait to play around with MAKEUP!!!

The bracelts came in a set..a coral/wood and a pinkish one.

Soo, what do you lovlies think?

Review: Bourjois Vitamin Enriched Toner

A great drugstore toner/makeup removal product from France.
I have been using this product for the last few months (as you can tell, by the amount missing), and am very satisfied with it. I usually use it once a day in the evening to cleanse my skin or wash of excess makeup.
First, I was a bit sceptical because of the smell...it is a quite strong fruity smell...and I don't like anything with 'perfume' in it.
Retails for around $10.95 (Amazon price) for a 8.4 fl.oz bottle.

Pros:
It cleans skin gently and leaves it smooth and soft.
Does not dry out my normally dry skin.
Cons:
Like I mentioned, I don't like it when a cream, toner...any kindda product smells to intense.
It says it is for all skin types...well, I usually prefer when they make separate stuff for dry or oily skin.


What it promises:

It refreshes, cleans and completes make-up removal for a glowing complexion, and the citrus fragrance brings you an invigorated feeling.

Tested under dermatological control, it is gentle because it contains no alcohol and is suitable for all skin types.

Bourjois' tip

When used with fresh cleansing milk, vitamin toner revitalizes the skin.
It is also perfect for women who don't wear make-up but simply want to freshen up in the morning or the evening.
